In with the new - and a recap

Happy New Year, Happy New Decade!! Happy 2010 - twenty-ten, two-o-one-o, or whatever you may be calling it in your part of the world...!! I am excited about what this year may bring.

But first, a little update on my Christmas 'rant'.

So I eventually got ready, although the thought of so much pressure for just ONE DAY still seems somehow ridiculous to me... Because surely we should be challenged to always be celebrating the awesome meaning and message of Christmas, every single day of our lives on earth?!? Instead we make such a big deal of ONE DAY!! It confounds me: I want to WANT TO celebrate the birth of my Immanuel every day of my life!!

Anyway. (Think maybe I ought to get off my high-horse, and put my soap-box away for another year...)

It was a lovely family time, just us 5 on the day...

Then on Boxing Day we met up with the rest of the Wibbzes at Mr and Mrs Wibbs Senior, AKA Grandma and Grandpa. It was an equally fun-filled time, if a little more chaotic than the proceedings of the previous day!! Here we all are - all 12 of us.

And as a recap of the past year, I am in the process of compiling my Facebook 'status updates' for each month, and putting them up in a new Blog - which I will unveil when I eventually finish!
